Since joining the project in January 2024, Miss J has made significant strides in her job search skills and personal development
She’s learned how to effectively apply for jobs online, which has given her a better understanding of the application processes and the habits that will lead to success. Now, she is confidently using these skills to independently search and apply for jobs.
Her progress doesn’t stop there. She’s developed solid IT skills, mastering Microsoft Excel and Word, while also improving her overall knowledge of Windows. Since March 2024, she has increased her digital capabilities by participating in an IT skills course, and since May, she’s been working on her Maths and English with Northern Learning Trust (NLT). These efforts are helping her grow both professionally and personally, preparing her for new opportunities.
