Rob’s achievements have increased his independence, boosted his confidence and given him a clear direction for the future
After being out of work for two years, Rob needed support to re-enter the workforce and pursue his career goals. With guidance on improving his CV, exploring new employment paths and building confidence, he was able to take meaningful steps forward. Rob successfully completed an entry-level Maths course, enrolled in a Level 2 Welding course and secured part-time employment. These achievements have increased his independence, boosted his confidence and given him a clear direction for the future. His goal is to complete his courses and move into a welding apprenticeship.
Reflecting on his journey, Rob advises others to “stick at it, diversify how you approach things, keep your head up strong and don’t let the blues get to you.” His story demonstrates how support, persistence and skill development can transform opportunities and lives.
